President Thomas S. Monson is our new prophet. Although I will always miss President Hinckley, I am grateful that we will always have a prophet of God on earth. President Monson will be a wonderful new prophet. He has always given my favorite talks at the conferences and has inspired me through his example and words to be better. President Henry B. Eyring was the newest counselor to President Hinckley before President Hinckley died. President Eyring was made second counselor in the First Presidency last October, and is our new first counselor. President Dieter F. Uchtdorf is our newest member of the First Presidency. He is the second counselor. I remember when President Uchtdorf was made an apostle. I was in Yangshuo, China celebrating the Moon Festival. The other teachers I taught with were mostly LDS, so we gathered in the hotel lobby around a phone where our friend Brittany called her mom to see who the newest apostles were. Elder Bednar was made an apostle at the same time. I'm excited to have President Uchtdorf in our First Presidency. He was born in Czechoslovakia but raised in Germany.
I love our new first presidency! And I know this is irrelevant, but I cannot get over how adorable your little girl is. Like, the slideshow you have going... I just can't get over her!! :)
