Dear Friends and Family,
We wish you all a very merry Christmas this year. We had a relatively calm year in the Clifthouse. Mari is continuing to grow and progress just as she should, although we believe she is a baby genius. She has accomplished more in this year than Aaron and Sarah put together; she learned how to roll over, eat solids, sit up, crawl, and walk all since January. Like we said…she’s a baby genius. She occasionally says ma and daddy, but her first real word was dog, and she excitingly says it anytime she sees a furry animal. She loves playing with her baby doll and feeds it pretend food and takes it on walks in its stroller. She’s getting good practice being a mommy.
Sarah enjoys staying home with Mari and being a full-time homemaker. Since they moved into their own apartment, she’s been busy decorating it and keeping it looking nice. She’s working toward her degree through Independent Study at Brigham Young University and takes extra classes at the local community college. When she’s not cleaning, taking care of Mari and Aaron, or working on homework, Sarah keeps busy with a book club. Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with Graves’ disease. Treatment is going well, and her doctors hope to have her off the anti-thyroid medication in March. Sarah currently serves in their church as the visiting teaching coordinator and primary chorister.
Aaron started working for Allstate Financial late last year and passed the Series 6 and 63 earlier this year. He enjoys helping people with their financial needs, from life and health insurance to investments. Aaron is a true blue BYU football fan and was elated to see BYU beat Utah for the second year in a row. Aaron was recently called to serve in their church as the ward mission leader and is excited to help further the ward mission effort.
We’ve posted pictures throughout the year, so feel free to browse our blog.
May the Lord bless you and yours this holiday season.
Love, The Clifts

Sarah,
I know, a little crazy that we live in the same city and haven't seen each other since we were pregnant! Mari is gorgeous...just like her mama! Isn't motherhood the best??? I'm glad we can keep in touch through blogs...its a good way for everyone to keep up on each others lives, even while being busy super moms! :)
Merry Christmas! Keep in touch,
Stacy
