Christmastime

This Christmas, I almost dreaded the coming of Christmas Day. The coming of Christmas Day means it all has to end. I love the Christmas season. I love what it does to the hearts of men. I love that it brings families together. I love that it turns people to Christ and following in his ways.
Mari did as well with Santa as she did last year. But last year, she didn't have a choice. This year when Santa walked into our family Christmas party, she clung to me like a monkey and closed her eyes. I think she thought that if she couldn't see him than he wasn't really there. When her turn came to get the gift Santa "brought" for her, she used all her strength to not be set on his lap. Last year, she sat on his lap but sobbed the whole time. Now a few weeks later, she talks about "santa" bringing her a "present" of "colors" aka, a magna-doodle.
I scored big time this Christmas. I got TWO things from my big wish list. I got a Breadman breadmaker that Aaron and Mindy went in on together for me, and a Hoover WindTunnel vacuum, aka the best vacuum ever! Thanks guys!

I know what you mean about Christmas Day. I absolutely love the season and it feels like it's all over once Christmas Day hits.
That's awesome that you got a bread maker. I would love one of those!
