Mari loved the petting zoo. I don't know where she gets her love of animals...certainly not from me.
Mari took her first state fair ride with Daddy. I'm not sure what she thought about the whole thing.
Laverta, the car that Aaron brought to our marriage and the car that broke down while we were on our honeymoon, got backed into. The light is fixed now, but I get to drive it around looking like this now. Lucky me! I can't complain though. Laverta hasn't given us any problems, and she never overheated this summer. Can't ask for much more than that!
Mindy came home at the end of August! While we waited for her to get off her flight, Mari carried around the flowers to give to her.
Grandpa and Grandma Clift took us to the circus this year! Like last year, Mari absolutely loved the elephants!

I also don't know where my kids get their love for animals - I hate them! They are expensive, they smell, they're dirty, etc. I hate it when they even want to pet a dog - I feel like I need to go give them a bath. Okay, I realize I am a little OCD. That's funny about the shoes - I had totally forgotten them, I swear!!! And they are a 6 1/2?!?!! I can't believe I ever fit into those! My feet grew with Cody and never went back down. weird! Anyway, Alan should be home Sunday or MOnday, so let's try getting together after he leaves. And then my dad comes fo ra week for Thanksgiving. So in all honesty, it's have to be between about the 13th and 20th, or else not til Dec. Let me know. :) We would LOVE to see you guys!!!!
