Twilight Bandwagon

As a present to myself for finishing two independent study classes a week ago, I took a week off from all studies to read Twilight. Little did I know that I would read all three books in one week. I am hooked! I remember when Twilight came out. I saw it on the bookshelves at the BYU bookstore, and I paused there every now and then to consider giving in and reading it. Three years later, I realized a movie was being made. I always like to read the book before I see the movie because the movie usually ruins the book. So, my friend Emily let me borrow Twilight. It took me a while to actually open the cover (Aaron read it before I did), but after chapter 2, I was emotionally involved with the characters. I began Twilight on Saturday night and finished it on Tuesday. I got New Moon from Borders on Tuesday and finished it on Thursday. On Friday, I got Eclipse and I finished it on Saturday night. Breaking Dawn comes out August 2nd, and I can hardly wait!
The movie comes out December 12, and I am considering getting a group of girls together to go see the midnight showing (sorry Aaron, you get to watch Mari). Robert Pattinson is Edward. You will remember him as Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter. :)

Anyway, I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't read these should jump on the bandwagon!! The author, Stephanie Meyer is a BYU graduate. I am very impressed with her writing. This is one of those times where I think, "Why didn't I think of this?"

:D nice. I've been a fan for a while now -- too bad I'll be in Illinois, otherwise I'd go at midnight with you!

I was the same way, but I love the series now and can't wait for the next book and movie. Maybe someone will go to the midnight showing with me here in Provo. Haha. You should check out this teaser for the first book in Edward perspective called Midnight Sun.

Bout time, Mrs. Sarah! I got the bug a few years ago...it took me two weeks to bring myself to read a "Vampire love story" my friend made me borrow...but then I couldn't put it down and read it in about 24 hrs! I can't wait for book four!

I'm so glad you finally joined. I read all three in one weekend during last Christmas Break. I finished Breaking Dawn a couple of days ago, WOW it is absolutely amazing. I have to admit that I am a little sad now that it is all over, I miss the characters:(

You joined the bandwagon at the wrong time. The final book should have been titled "Breaking headboards" instead of "Breaking Dawn". One of the worst books that young adults will be reading because of the content related to that which should only be discussed between spouses and because Bella gives a perfect pattern for ruining a marriage within the first two months. This book should be burned. What a disappointment.
