We went camping with Aaron's family this year in Tahoe for Fourth of July. Aaron's dad brought his boat, so we got to go out on the beautiful blue lake.
This sight made my day. Aaron's mom is riding the banana sled behind the boat we are in, and her mother, Grandma Fredrickson, was sitting in the back of the boat we were in. Grandma Fredrickson enjoyed the ride, I think.
Mari's favorite word while we were there was "water." She loved playing in the water. This was the second time I had to save her, though, because she stepped too far into the water.
We tried to teach Mari the art of sandcastles, but she didn't quite get it. Maybe next year.
This is what I did the majority of the time we were there. Ah, the joys of being a student!
